FERDINAND — Members of the Ferdinand Volunteer Fire Department made a weekend run to a Ferdinand hotel.
There was no fire associated with the 12:19 p.m. callout Saturday to the Comfort Inn, 123 Scenic Hills Court, according to Fire Chief John Hoppenjans. Instead, he added, steam from a shower triggered a detector in a first-floor room.
Four trucks and personnel were on the scene 10 minutes.
