Fire destroys residence east of JasperMay 8, 2019

JASPER — Three fire departments responded to a fire early this afternoon that destroyed a residence east of Jasper.
The Celestine Volunteer Fire Department was called to the active fire in the 800 block of County Road 330E at 12:11 p.m. The department then requested mutual assistance from the Schnellville and St. Anthony fire departments.
The Dubois County Sheriff’s Office provided traffic control as water was shuttled to the scene.
Firefighters remained on the scene this afternoon.
