HOLLAND — Members of the Holland Volunteer Fire Department responded to the report of a burning yard barn Thursday afternoon.
The 3:21 p.m. call sent the department to the Donna Cassidy residence, according to Fire Chief Adam Chambers.
The fire destroyed the yard barn. Its cause is as yet undetermined. The loss was estimated at between $3,000 and $5,000.
Two trucks and nine firefighters were on the scene 30 minutes.
Memorial Hospital Emergency Medical Services assisted.
