KYANA — A tractor sustained cab and engine compartment damage when it caught fire Monday morning at Kyana.
Units of the St. Anthony Volunteer Fire Department were called to the Hillary Jacobs residence at 5384 S. Kyana Road at 6:40 a.m., according to Fire Chief Scott Uebelhor.
An electrical short was the likely cause of the fire, according to Uebelhor.
Three trucks and 20 firefighters responded.
On Friday, at 7:35 p.m., the department was called to the report of a possible fire in the Ridge Drive/State Road 64 area.
Firefighters determined the call involved a construction barrel and presented no issues.
Three trucks and 15 firefighters responded for 15 minutes.
