Ferdinand meetings moved to community center

From Local Sources

FERDINAND — The Town of Ferdinand will begin holding meetings for its town boards and commissions again this month, with some moving to the Ferdinand Community Center.

For the next three months — May, June and July — the town council, board of zoning appeals and plan commission will meet at the Ferdinand Community Center. The three will also be available via Zoom. The change in location is due to social distancing guidelines. Town hall facilities cannot accommodate social distancing for the number of people who generally attend these meetings.

The park board and economic development commission will meet at town hall.

Attendees at all town meetings will be required to wear a cloth face mask and may have their temperatures checked at entry.
