Ferdinand Heimatfest canceled due to pandemic

FERDINAND — The 25th annual Ferdinand Heimatfest, which was planned for June 19-20, is canceled due to COVID-19.

According to the fest's website, organizers canceled following Gov. Eric Holcomb's announcement of the five-phase plan to reopen the state. According to the plan, large events such as festivals like the Heimatfest must remain closed until July 4.
