Ferdinand Branch Library August Events

Storytime for Littles is held every Thursday in August at 10 a.m. and again at 11 a.m.  No registration required.  

Teen are invited to come to the Library Young Adult Room on Mondays after school to participate in ‘Motivation Mondays’ where they’ll receive something to eat, something to do or something to enjoy!  No registration required.

August 4 - Natalie Bolin with Crisis Connection will be presenting ‘Storytime With A Purpose’ at 1pm.  Children will learn about kindness and respect. Register on the website, www.jdcpl.us or call 812.367.1671

August 5th - Chelsea Brewer with Purdue Extension will be presenting, “Food Labelling:  What’s In There Anyway?” from 10-11am; Register on the website, www.jdcpl.us or call 812.367.1671.

August 5 - Genealogy Workshop from 6-7:30. Participants will learn how to find their family history.  Register on the website, www.jdcpl.us or call 812.367.1671

August 21 - A Loom Knitting class will be held on Saturday at 1 to 4 p.m.  No registration required.

August 26 - An Adult Craft class will be held on Thursday at 6pm.  Participants will be making a Jack-O-Lantern Door Hangar.  Register on the website, www.jdcpl.us or call 812.367.1671

August 31 - There will be an ‘Art Time For Littles’ at 10am.  Register on the website, www.jdcpl.us or call 812.367.1671.

August 31 - The Ferdinand Library is collecting kids’ art in August to display in their Lobby during September.  All ages of youth are invited to bring one item (like a drawing, painting, sculpture, craft, etc.) to the Front Desk by August 31st
