Fender-bender worked in pharmacy’s lot

From Local Sources

FERDINAND — No tickets were issued when police worked a pickup-truck-versus-passenger car fender-bender Thursday evening in a business lot on Ferdinand’s south side.

Cooper L. Moon, 48, English, was attempting to back his 1998 GMC Sierra into a parking spot at the time of the 7:45 p.m. mishap, according to the Ferdinand Police Department.

Moon’s truck struck a parked 2014 Chevrolet Cruze owned by Stefanie L. Seal, Cannelburg, according to police.

The Moon GMC did not appear to be damaged because its trailer hitch was the part that struck the Chevrolet. Damage to the rear bumper of the Seal Cruze was estimated at $2,000.
