DUBOIS — No wreckers were needed after a two-car fender-bender Wednesday morning in the parking lot at Northeast Dubois High School, 4711 Dubois Road Northeast.
Lane J. Knies, 17, Celestine, was backing into a parking spot on the south side of the lot when the 8 a.m. mishap involving his 2011 Toyota Camry occurred, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said a 2003 Oldsmobile Alero driven by Courtney E. Vittitow, 16, Dubois, pulled into the lot shortly after Knies.
Police said the Oldsmobile continued when Knies was backing and the cars collided.
Total damage was estimated between $2,500 and $5,000.
