September 16, 2020By Herald Staf
JASPER — The Jasper Municipal Water Department has started fall hydrant flushing.
Flushing hours are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, weather permitting.
Flushing will continue for several weeks until all hydrants in the city have been flushed.
The water is safe for human and pet consumption.
Please exercise caution when doing laundry, as staining of laundry can occur. Should you notice cloudy or discolored water, run your cold water tap until it clears.
Questions regarding flushing can be made to the water department at 812-482-5252.
