JASPER — Authorities booked a woman into jail late Wednesday after a petition was filed to revoke her probation.
Jessica L. Escobedo, 33, 1103 Oakwood Drive, Huntingburg, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor visiting a common nuisance in June. One condition of her supervised probation was avoiding drugs and alcohol but, authorities allege, she failed three drug screens this month.
A petition to revoke Escobedo’s probation was filed Wednesday in Dubois Superior Court and a warrant for her arrest was issued at that time.
Escobedo was booked into the Dubois County Security Center at 11:29 p.m. Wednesday on the active warrant.
She appeared in court Thursday, at which time an admission-or-denial hearing was set for Oct. 23.
