FERDINAND — Authorities jailed a Ferdinand man Friday on a warrant charging him with disseminating matter harmful to minors.
The Dubois County Sheriff’s Department investigated the case that resulted the issuance of a warrant Friday in Dubois Circuit Court charging Tyler M. Blessinger, 30, 9970 S. Ferdinand Road Northwest, Ferdinand, with a Level 6 felony count of dissemination of matter harmful to minors.
Court documents allege that, in September 2018, Blessinger attempted to deceive minors to get them to send nude pictures to him and sent an inappropriate, harmful picture to a minor.
According to the warrant, when the investigation started, Blessinger was assisting with the Forest Park Junior-Senior High School tennis team.
Authorities booked Blessinger into the Dubois County Security Center at 3:02 p.m. Friday on the active warrant. He posted bond a short time later.
