ST. ANTHONY — A motorist’s evasive maneuver sent her SUV into a ditch late Saturday afternoon north of St. Anthony.
Katelyn A. Seibert, 26, Bretzville, was southbound on Santine Road in a 2009 Lincoln MKX when the 5:37 p.m. accident occurred south of Schnellville Road, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy said Seibert swerved to miss a deer in the roadway and her SUV ran into a ditch on the east side of the roadway.
Damage was estimated between $5,000 and $10,000.
