EVANSVILLE — Authorities have closed the Evansville Federal Courthouse to the public.
The closure began at 5 p.m. Wednesday in light of the rapidly evolving situation presented by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The court will continue with all necessary hearings and other proceedings it deems proper and will allow necessary witnesses to participate meaningfully upon written notice from counsel.
For those without access to the court’s electronic filing system, filings for District Court and Bankruptcy Court must be submitted by mail.
The court will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.
