Eva Mae “Dolly” Taylor, 83, Huntingburg
November 11, 2020Eva Mae “Dolly” Taylor, age 83, of Huntingburg, passed away at 5:20 a.m., Sunday, November 8, 2020, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

She was born February 4, 1937, in Spencer County, Indiana, to Milo and Della May (Russell) Bender; and married Darwin Kay Taylor on February 26, 1955, at the Church of the Nazarene in Dale. Eva worked as a nurse’s aide at the Golden Circle Nursing Center in Dale for 28 years. She was a member of the Huntingburg Church of the Nazarene; and enjoyed gardening, cooking, cleaning and taking care of babies.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Donna Sue Kippenbrock; eight siblings, Hettie Johnson, Gloria Thompson, Milo “Bud” Bender, Jr., Paul Bender, Jerry Bender, Gladys Franz, Charles Bender and Mary Bender; and grandson, Dennis Kay Taylor, Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Darwin “Kay” Taylor of Huntingburg; five children, Rev. Dennis (Brenda) Taylor of Lynnville, David (Julie) Taylor of Otwell, Rev. Daniel (Teresa) Taylor of Royalton, Illinois, Diana (John) Headley of Rotunda West, Florida and Deborah (Randy) Granderson of Lamar; son-in-law, Larry Kippenbrock of Dale; three siblings, June Evertts of Hatfield, Anthony (Kaye) Bender of Gentryville and Clyde Bender of Gentryville; (15) grandchildren and (35) great-grandchildren.
Friends are invited to attend graveside services for Eva Mae Taylor to be held at 11:00 a.m., E.S.T., (10:00 a.m., C.S.T.), on Saturday, November 14, 2020, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Dale. Due to Covid-19 precautions, visitation will be held privately at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 3:00-7:00 p.m., E.S.T., (2:00-6:00 p.m., C.S.T.), Friday; and a private funeral held at 10:00 a.m., E.S.T., (9:00 a.m., C.S.T.), Saturday.
