Escort damaged in collision with deer

HAYSVILLE — A Dubois man escaped injury when his car collided with a deer Monday afternoon east of Haysville.
Devin L. Klingle, 45, Dubois, was westbound on State Road 56 in a 2000 Ford Escort when the 5:15 p.m. accident occurred 750 feet east of Kellerville Road, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy said the Klingle Escort collided with a deer that came onto the highway from the north.
Damage was estimated between $2,500 and $5,000.
