Erratic driving lands woman in jail

JASPER — Allegations of erratic driving Friday afternoon ultimately resulted in a woman going to jail.
Rosy K. Rivas Fuentes, 37, 110 E. 35th St., Jasper, allegedly crossed the centerline and erratically operated the 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 series truck she was driving at 1 p.m. Friday before the Jasper Police Department made contact with her in the 1900 block of Lube Way, east of U.S. 231.
Police alleged Fuentes’ blood alcohol content tested .24 percent.
Authorities booked Rivas Fuentes into the Dubois County Security Center at 3:06 p.m. on a preliminary misdemeanor count of operating while intoxicated. She posted bond Saturday morning.
