Father John Brosmer witnessed the marriage vows of Erin Knies and Andrew Terwiske in St. Raphael Catholic Church in Dubois. The ceremony took place at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013.
Roger and Deb Knies of Celestine are parents of the bride. Mr. Terwiske is the son of Sheryl Pritchett of Newburgh and Brian Terwiske of Dubois.
Sue Lorey and Sheila Bachman provided music for the ceremony.
Brittany Schnell was matron of honor. Maid of honor was Shayla Knies. Also attending the bride were Kimberly Schnell, Courtney Hopf, Whitney Hall, Crystal Seger, Nicole Warner and Lauren Foltz. Flower girl was Presley Schnell.
Mr. Terwiske chose Dustin and Spencer Terwiske as best men. Groomsmen were Brady and Jason Hall, Evan Schnell, Nick Brosmer, Kale Terwiske and Daron Crowder. Ushers were Clay and Jason Cummins, Adam Schroering and Kade Vogler. Ty Riecker was ring bearer.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her parents, wore a strapless wedding gown of ivory Alencon lace with a sweetheart neckline, an elongated bodice and a natural waist with a floral belt. The tiered tulle skirt had horsehair trim and a chapel train.
The bridesmaids were attired in long, sweetheart gowns of chiffon with asymmetrical ruching on the bodices and one-shoulder straps with ruffle detailing.
A reception was held at the Huntingburg Event Center in Huntingburg.
The couple left for a wedding trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
The bride graduated from Northeast Dubois High School, Dubois, and the University of Southern Indiana, Evansville. She is employed at Riecker Chiropractic. Mr. Terwiske graduated from Northeast Dubois High School and Ivy Tech. He is employed by DC Poultry.
