Elnora M. Eisenhut, 95, Haysville
July 13, 2020Elnora M. Eisenhut, 95, of Haysville, passed away at 5:09 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, 2020, at home.

Elnora was born in Boone Township, Dubois County, on November 23, 1924, to John and Pauline (Dorsam) Eck, and was raised by her uncle and aunt, William and Maggie Eck. She married Radus Eisenhut on February 16, 1950 in St. John’s Lutheran Church in Boone Township. He preceded her in death on December 27, 1991.
She retired from Kimball Electronics after many years of service.
Elnora was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville and their WELCA organization.
She enjoyed reading, puzzles, playing cards, gardening, traveling and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are two sons, Dave Eisenhut (Jackie), Huntingburg, and Mark Eisenhut (Karen), Dubois; five granddaughters, Heather Burrows, Hollie Vest, Heidi Rivera, Mallory Hall and Sabrina Harris; and 11 great-grandchildren, with two on the way.
Preceding her in death beside her husband was one daughter, Janel Eisenhut; one grandson, Heath Eisenhut; four brothers, Leonard, Arthur and Austin Eck and Floyd Eck who died in infancy; two sisters, Thelma Teague and Leona Potts; and foster brothers, Lawrence, Carl, Alvah, and Chris Eck.
Funeral Services for Elnora M. Eisenhut will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Pastor Timothy Holt will officiate.
A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service time on Wednesday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Masks and social distancing will be required.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church cemetery fund, Heart to Heart Hospice, or a favorite charity.
