Elizabeth Rose “Betty” Kieper, 69, Ferdinand, died Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013, in St. Vincent Indianapolis Hospital.
She was born in Ferdinand on April 18, 1944, to Albert and Marcella (Kordes) Heidet. She married Edwin F. Kieper on Nov. 25, 1971, in St. Henry Catholic Church in Belleville, Ill.
Surviving are her husband, Edwin F. “Ed” Kieper; two sons, Michael Kieper and wife Michelle of Ferdinand and Stephen Kieper and wife Melissa of Indianapolis; two daughters, Lisa Kieper of Nashville, Tenn., and Sherly Stephens and husband Jacob of Evansville; and six grandchildren.
Mrs. Kieper was a lifelong member of St. Ferdinand Parish in Ferdinand.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Ferdinand Catholic Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 7 to 9:30 a.m. Monday at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand.
