Eli Peyton Mathies, infant, 3 months, passed away on October 10, 2019, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
He was born July 9, 2019, in Jasper to Nick and Andrea (Prusz) Mathies.
Eli is survived by his parents, Nick and Andrea Mathies of Huntingburg; two brothers, Evan and Ian Mathies, both at home; grandparents, Don and Sara Prusz of Holland, and Kevin and Beth Mathies of Huntingburg; great-grandparents; Melba Prusz of Holland, Shirley Reese of Huntingburg and Dorothy Mathies of Jasper; and by aunts, uncles and cousins.
A private graveside service for Eli Peyton Mathies will be held at St. James Lutheran West Cemetery in Holland. Pastor David Darling will officiate at the service.
Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the burial arrangements.
