Edwin Paul Pfeiffer, 75, Haubstadt
August 25, 2020Edwin Paul Pfeiffer, 75, of Haubstadt, Indiana, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2020, after a long struggle with Parkinson’s disease.

Ed was born in St. Meinrad, Indiana on June 27, 1945 to the late Henry and Helen Pfeiffer. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Ed retired from Whirlpool Corporation after 42 years of service. He was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW Post #1114) in Evansville, Indiana and the American Legion Post #25 in Princeton, Indiana. Ed loved to go fishing and spend time in the garden. He particularly enjoyed watching his grandchildren grow up and talking about all of their activities and accomplishments.
Ed was preceded in death by his brother Joseph Pfeiffer (Erma).
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Bernadette (Hedinger) Pfeiffer; sons, Keith Pfeiffer (Vonna) of Bloomington, Indiana and Randy Pfeiffer (Susan) of Haubstadt, Indiana; sister, Jane Merten (Bob); brother, John Pfeiffer (Carolyn); grandchildren, Katie, Elizabeth, Ian, Jacob, Helaena, Ellie and Nicholas Pfeiffer.
A private Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt.
