Education activities planned for fair

Fun educational activities will be happening during the Dubois County 4-H Fair. The activities will be led by Melanie Roberts, the new Dubois County 4-H Fair queen and Purdue Extension summer intern.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to noon Monday and Tuesday, July 16 and 17, in the Clover Pavilion on the 4-H Fairgrounds. Youth can attend one or both days. New activities related to art, science and other crafts will be offered each day. The cost is free for this event. 

In order to better prepare for each day’s activities, participants will to register in advance. Anyone wanting to attend this event on either day, should go to The event is open to anyone who just completed grades kindergarten through 12. The deadline to register is Saturday, July 14.
