The German American Foundation of Dubois County recently awarded the Duff Conservation Club a grant to purchase an automated external defibrillator. The AED unit is now installed in a cabinet at the facility.
"We are thankful for the generosity of the gift and that if in an emergency situation the service is ever needed, we are equipped with lifesaving equipment," said a statement from the club.
