DUBOIS — No injuries were reported after a car-versus-deer collision late Friday night south of Dubois.
Cori L. Wilson, 38, Dubois, was northbound on Jasper-Dubois Road in a 2018 Subaru Impreza when the 11:50 p.m. accident occurred 500 feet south of State Road 545, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy said Wilson’s car was hit by a deer that came onto the roadway from the east and collided with the Subaru’s passenger side.
Damage to the car’s passenger-side front and rear was estimated between $1,000 and $2,500.
The vehicle was able to be driven from the scene.
