FERDINAND — No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision Tuesday afternoon at South Industrial Park Road and State Road 162.
The Ferdinand Police Department says the 3:42 p.m. mishap involved a 2007 Ford Focus driven by Austin J. Lashley, 25, Paoli, and a 2014 Lincoln MKZ driven by Jorge M. Santiago.
Police said both vehicles had been eastbound on South Industrial Park Road and were intending to turn right to go south on State Road 162. The Lashley Ford rear-ended the Santiago Lincoln at the traffic light, according to police.
Ferdinand police said both drivers were wearing seat belts, which helped the motorists avoid injuries.
Damage was estimated at about $1,000 to each of the vehicles but both were able to be driven from the scene, according to police.
