JASPER — Police ticketed one of the motorists in an SUV-versus-passenger-car collision Tuesday at 36th Street and Leslie Drive.
Tanya H. Bousman, 43, Boulder, Wyoming, was northbound on Leslie Drive in a 2014 Cadillac SRX at the time of the 11:46 a.m. accident, according to the Jasper Police Department.
Police said Bousman attempted to cross 36th Street to get to the Germantown Shopping Center but failed to see a westbound 2004 Chrysler 300 driven by Megan M. Jackson, 27, Jasper.
The front of the Bousman Cadillac struck the left side of the Jackson Chrysler.
Damage to each vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
An officer cited Bousman for failing to yield the right of way.
