Driver injured in Tuesday accident

JASPER — A fender bender on Hoffman Road Tuesday evening injured a driver.
Ella Goeppner, 18, of Jasper was treated on the scene by medical personnel for neck pain, Jasper Police reported.
Goeppner was driving her 2015 Ford Fusion south on Hoffman Road at 6 p.m. behind a 2017 Lexus ES3 driven by Kevin Messmer, 60, of Jasper. As Messmer attempted to enter onto the state road, Goeppner’s vehicle rear ended Messmer’s vehicle, police reported.
Each vehicle sustained $100 in damages, police said.
