JASPER — A Marion County driver suffered injury in a rollover crash Wednesday just north of Jasper.
Bryan J. Eichmiller, 42, Indianapolis, was southbound on U.S. 231 in a 2003 Oldsmobile Alero when the 3:25 p.m. accident occurred south of County Road 500N, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy said the Eichmiller Alero, for an unknown reason, took an abrupt right turn, running off the west side of the highway and into a bean field. The Oldsmobile overturned several times before stopping in the field.
The sheriff’s office said Eichmiller, who was wearing a seat best, suffered a facial injury but was treated at the scene.
A Sternberg Automotive Group wrecker towed the Oldsmobile for disabling damage.
No citations were issued.
The Haysville Volunteer Fire Department and a Memorial Hospital Emergency Medical Services assisted.
