BRETZVILLE — Deputies took a Kentucky man into custody after responding early Sunday to the report of a single-vehicle accident north of the Bretzville Junction.
The 3:19 p.m. dispatch reported a vehicle was on its top off State Road 162 near the north entrance to the Dubois County 4-H Fairgrounds.
Dubois County Sheriff’s Office deputies made contact with Patrick J. Mundy, who had been driving the 2005 Toyota Corolla involved in the accident.
Deputies allege Mundy exhibited signs of intoxication and had a blood alcohol content that tested .17% after a blood draw at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center.
Authorities booked Mundy into the Dubois County Security Center at 8 a.m. on a preliminary misdemeanor count of operating while intoxicated. Mundy posted bond Sunday evening.
