Driver in mishap accused of OWIApril 15, 2019

HUNTINGBURG — The Dubois County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Jasper woman after investigating a single-vehicle mishap early Saturday just southwest of Huntingburg.
Emma R. Luker, 19, 1895 N. Mill St., Jasper, allegedly told a deputy she was going too fast in a 2007 Ford Five Hundred when she missed a turn at county roads 750S and 450W at 4:34 a.m.
After noting that Luker showed signs of impairment, deputies said her blood alcohol content test .16%.
Authorities booked Luker into the Dubois County Security Center at 6:22 a.m. on preliminary misdemeanor counts of operating while intoxicated and minor consuming.
A Ruxer Ford wrecker assisted.
