SCHNELLVILLE — Police allege a motorist involved in a Wednesday night mishap west of Schnellville was driving while impaired.

Indiana State Police responded to the area of Schnellville and Santine roads at 10:13 p.m. after a 2016 Chevrolet truck driven by Chance R. Hasenour, 22, 1982 S. Santine Road, St. Anthony, collided with a vehicle driven by a first responder called out to weather-related problems associated with Wednesday night’s storm.

A trooper who smelled the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from Hasenour said his blood alcohol content later tested .15% after a blood draw at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center.
