St. Charles resident Carol Dodge sprays the fire hose with Jasper Fire Chief Kenny Hochgesang during the residents’ weekly walk at the health campus in Jasper on Friday. Dodge dreamed of the day a fire truck would drive by while they were out for their walk. “I never in my life thought it would happen,” Dodge said. “I can’t even think right now. This put a smile on my face for sure. For lots of days.”
