Donetta G. “Jean” McRoberts Fesler, 83, of Jasper, made Heaven her final destination, on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at her residence.
She was born September 12, 1935 in Clay City. She married Roy McRoberts, after they divorced, Jean married Jerry Fesler.
Family left behind to cherish her memory includes: daughters, Mary McRoberts of Jasper, Marsha (Mark) Smith of Centerville, Texas, and Beverly (Mark) Dean of Louisville, Kentucky; son, Roy (Dee) McRoberts of Solsberry; stepchildren, Mike (Diane) Fesler of Bloomington and Andrea Fonley of Shoals; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Roy McRoberts; second husband, Jerry Fesler; grandson, Chuck Graeter; and sisters, Polly Keller, Vallena Bollinger and Annie Bucklin.
A memorial service is scheduled for noon on Saturday, May 11, at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon, with Pastor Roy S. McRoberts officiating. Family and friends may gather from 10 a.m. until noon and share their memories of Donetta.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society. Envelopes will be available.
