Donald Lee Drake, 77, of French Lick, entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 15, 2019, at his home.
He was born in Orange County on July 25, 1941, to Theodore Roosevelt and Hazel Mae (Riggs) Drake. Donald married Barbara Allen Stickler on June 24, 1961.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; one son; and one daughter.
Donald is survived by his wife, Barbara Drake, French Lick; two daughters, Virginia (Calvin) Seitz, French Lick, and Lisa Drake, Clarkson, Kentucky; one son, Richard (Kristin) Drake, French Lick; two granddaughters, Nia (Jadon) Hinkle, West Baden, and Kris (Michael) Hawkins, Evansville; and two grandsons, Ivan Drake and Ian Drake, both of French Lick.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 19 from 3 to 8 p.m. ET at Moore’s Ridge United Methodist Church Celebration Center, French Lick, with the IVFA Ceremony from 7 to 7:15p.m.
Visitation will also be on Wednesday, March 20, from 11 a.m. EST until the time of service at 1 p.m. at Moore’s Ridge United Methodist Church, French Lick. Officiating the service will be Pastor Rodney Shelton. Burial to follow at the Moore’s Ridge Cemetery.
Arrangements are in the care of Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home, French Lick.
