Domestic-issue report ends in arrest

DUBOIS — Police arrested a woman Thursday night after responding to the report of a domestic issue.
The Dubois County Sheriff’s Office was notified at 8:03 p.m. and learned children had been present when the incident involving Winter R. Redecker, 24, 5156 E. Dubois Road Northwest, Dubois, and another female who was transported for treatment had taken place.
After investigating, authorities booked Redecker into the Dubois County Security Center at 9:02 p.m. on a preliminary Level 6 felony count of domestic battery.
Memorial Hospital Emergency Medical Services and Dubois Volunteer Fire Department first responders assisted.
