PATOKA LAKE — An Indiana Department of Natural Resources conservation officer made a boating-while-intoxicated arrest Saturday night at Patoka Lake.

The conservation officer stopped a Baja boat operated by Michael W. Wilkerson, 26, 23430 Old State Road 31, St. Croix, at 10 p.m. because the craft allegedly had no navigation lights and was exceeding the nighttime speed limit of 10 mph.

Wilkerson allegedly failed field sobriety testing and had a blood alcohol content that tested .091% on a certified breath test.

Authorities booked Wilkerson into the Dubois County Security Center at 12:32 a.m. Sunday on a preliminary misdemeanor count of boating while intoxicated.
