PATOKA LAKE — No injuries were reported after a car-versus-deer collision Saturday afternoon just west of Patoka Lake.
Connie S. Archer, 51, Celestine, was southbound on State Road 545 in a 2012 Ford Fusion when the 3:16 p.m. collision occurred north of Ellsworth Road, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy said the Archer Ford collided with a deer that came onto the highway from the west.
Damage was estimated between $1,000 and $2,500.
