HAYSVILLE — A Martin County motorist avoided injury in a car-versus-deer accident Friday morning southeast of Haysville.
Brandon M. Poole, 43, Loogootee, was eastbound on County Road 600N in a 2010 Ford Taurus when the 5:32 a.m. accident occurred near Kellerville Road, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy said the Poole Ford sustained front end damage when it collided with a deer that came onto the travel portion of the county road from the south.
Damage was estimated between $2,500 and $5,000.
A Ruxer Ford wrecker assisted.
