HUNTINGBURG — A Huntingburg woman escaped injury in a Saturday night deer-versus-SUV collision on Huntingburg’s east side.
Michelle A. Boeglin, 35, Huntingburg, was westbound on State Road 64 in a 2017 Kia Sorento when the 10:26 p.m. accident occurred 500 feet east of Cherry Street, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy said Boeglin’s SUV collided with a deer that entered onto the highway from the south.
Damage was estimated between $1,000 and $2,500.
