Depression topic of Women of the Heartland programJanuary 21, 2020
HUNTINGBURG — Women of the Heartland program will have discussions on how to learn more about important women’s health topics at Venue, 1408 N. Main St., from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 7.
This year’s topics include “Depression: Turning on the Light,” “Bone Health and Osteoporosis: The Skeleton in the Closet” and “Breast Health: Early Detection and Surgery.”
Sharing their knowledge with women will be Jrodi Richardson, Director of Behavioral Health and Social Work Services at Memorial Hospital; Dr. Jennifer Lueken, Obstetrician and Gynecologist; and Dr. Megan Stevenson, general surgeon, as they share their knowledge. Dr. Adam Dawkins will emcee the event.
There is no admission fee; however, donations will be accepted for the Integrative Medicine program at the Phillip R. Dawkins Heart & Vascular Center at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center.
Preregistration is required by March 2. All women who attend will receive a gift certificate for a free blood screening including total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglyceride and glucose levels at Memorial Hospital Outpatient Labs.
