Dennis Ray Merkley, 58, Huntingburg
September 22, 2020Dennis Ray Merkley, age 58, of Huntingburg, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

He was born May 23, 1962, in Siberia, Indiana, to Hubert and Margaret (Schnetzke) Merkley. Dennis worked as a shipping supervisor for Decora. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by three children, Josh Merkley of Albion, Illinios, Angelica Merkley of Stendal and Brandon Merkley of Jasper; seven siblings, Pamela Merkley of Celestine, Sarah Bailey of Huntingburg, Joan Oser of Huntingburg, Darrell “Butch” Merkley of Birdseye, Nance Merkley of Louisville, Randy (Kathy) Merkley of Kyana and Hubert “Junior” Merkley, Jr. of Texas; and four grandchildren, Gunnar and Jasey Merkley, Dustin and McKenzie Miller.
