Democrats cancel public meetings, events

The Dubois County Democratic party has canceled its public meetings and events for the next 30 to 60 days. In addition, the party’s headquarters at 402 E. 13th St., Jasper, will be closed until further notice.
The party will conduct its March 28 Steering Committee meeting electronically at 10 a.m. that day. Party Chair Mike Kendall also said that the Communications and the IT & Data Divisions are looking into holding the April 2 party meeting live on Facebook.
