Delores Ann Burch, 85, Petersburg
March 25, 2020Delores Ann Burch, 85, of Petersburg, passed away at 4 p.m. on Monday, March 23, 2020, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

She was born January 29, 1935, in Hartwell, to James Roscoe and Dorothy (Eads) Elder.
Delores worked in a managerial position in retail sales; was a member of the Algiers United Methodist Church and the Lion’s Club; and was a talented seamstress and avid gardener.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Deanna Mae Durfee and Delia Jae Burch; two sons-in-law, David Durfee and Micheal Perry; and infant siblings, James Roscoe Elder and Etta Elsie Elder.
She is survived by six children, Diana Kay “Katy” (Mick) Aldridge of Winslow, Denise Rae Burch of Algiers, Deborah Faye Burch-Vossah of Corydon, Pennsylvania, Darla Gay Perry of Granite Falls, North Carolina, Donald Kevin (Sherrie) Burch of Somerville, and Darwin Keith (Theresa) Burch of Lake Station; 21 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Private funeral services will be held Sunday, March 29, 2020, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Cup Creek Cemetery.
