Delmar Werner, 81, Ferdinand
December 25, 2020Delmar Werner, 81, of Ferdinand, passed away on Wednesday, January 23rd at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare center in Jasper.

Delmer was born October 26, 1939 in Jasper to Joseph and Theresa (Sneider) Werner. He married Rose Anne Sander on April 23, 1960 in St. Ferdinand Church. Delmar was a farmer and a salesman for Crows Seed Corn. He loved playing Sheephead, fishing and being with his grandkids. Delmer was a member of Christ the King Parish, St. Ferdinand Church and Ferdinand American Legion Post 124.
Delmer is survived by his wife, Rose Anne Werner; two sons, Joseph (Karen) Werner and Chris (Kim) Werner all of Ferdinand; five daughters, Mary (Mel Lake) Lampert of Bretzville, Donna (Delmar) Rasche of Jasper, Debra (Lester) Sickert of Ireland, Connie Werner and Karen (Steve) Libbert all of Ferdinand; three brothers, Richard (Donna) Werner of Tell City, Jerry (Connie) Werner and Ralph (Karen) Werner all of Jasper; four sisters, Carol (George) Lance of Santa Claus, Arlene (Gary) Frank, Ruth (Arthur) Margarida and Lou Ann (Ron) Burgan all of Jasper; thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Monday, December 28th at St. Ferdinand Church Cemetery. Ferdinand American Legion Post 124 will conduct military graveside rights. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be made at www.becherfuneralhome.com.
