Delivering Smiles

Photos by Brittney Lohmiller/The Herald
For the Ferdinand House of Flowers, Valentine’s Day is the busiest day of the year, with more than 100 floral arrangements delivered across the county. Dan Bell of Santa Claus delivered flowers to Edwina Wendholt of Ferdinand on Wednesday morning. Bell and Larry Abell of Huntingburg spent the morning driving around and delivering flowers. “We make a lot of ladies smile today,” Abell said.

Abell, left, and Bell sorted and organized the flowers before heading out to deliver them Wednesday morning.
