JASPER — A Huntingburg woman’s vehicle sustained damage when it collided with a deer Wednesday evening just west of Jasper.
Crystal A. Hochgesang, 27, Huntingburg, was westbound on Division Road in a 2002 Dodge when the 7:45 p.m. accident occurred at County Road 450W, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy said Hochgesang’s vehicle collided with a deer that entered onto the roadway from the north.
Damage to the vehicle’s front passenger side was estimated between $2,500 and $5,000.
Hochgesang was able to drive the Dodge from the scene.
