PATOKA LAKE — A Birdseye-area driver told police a deer ran off into the woods after colliding with her car Tuesday afternoon west of Patoka Lake.
Christina G. Bell-Lindsey, 40, Birdseye, was northbound on County Road 1025E in a 2017 Toyota Camry when the 3:45 p.m. accident occurred south of State Road 164, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Department.
A deputy said the Bell-Lindsey Toyota sustained between $2,500 and $5,000 in damage when it collided with a deer that came onto the highway from the east.
