HAYSVILLE — No injuries occurred and only minor damage resulted after a deer broadsided a car east of Haysville Monday morning.
Kaytlynn R. Dodd, 24, Loogootee, was eastbound on State Road 56 in a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu when the 6 a.m. accident occurred east of County Road 175E, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy said a deer that entered onto the highway from the north ran into the driver’s-side door area of the Dodd automobile.
Damage was estimated to have been less than $1,000.
The Malibu was able to be driven from the scene.
