DCSWD announces Folk Fest giveaway

The Dubois County Solid Waste District invites everyone attending the Ferdinand Folk Festival to stop by the booth on Saturday, Sept. 15, for a chance to win a set of reusable bamboo to-go utensils or a reusable water bottle. One of each will be given away every half hour from noon until 5:30 p.m.

Attendees already having their own reusable water bottle or reusable to-go ware are encouraged to stop by the booth to show off — and to enter a special drawing for a $40 value insulated Hydroflask water bottle.

The district also will have a cooler of iced tap water for water bottle refills to encourage reuse instead of single use.

Residents are invited to stop by the booth anytime from noon to 6 p.m.
